Turn on Disappearing Message
This gives you the ability to send messages that self-destruct after a certain time.
How to Turn On Disappearing Messages?
By default, WhatsApp will keep your messages for 30 days before they disappear. To use disappearing message feature on Whatsapp just follow these simple steps: Go to Settings > Account > Privacy and select “Delete all chats” option.
Enable Two-Step Verification for Wifi Security
Two-step verification is one of the most secure app lockers available on the Android platform to protect your Whatsapp account, you can enable it by following these simple steps: Go to Settings > Account > Privacy and select the “Verify via SMS” option. Now enter a six-digit code that you will use each time to log into your Whatsapp account.
Turn on Audio Status for Better Privacy
Audio status is a new feature that lets you know about the other person’s audio-enabled status before calling them. It does not reveal anything else, like if they are in speaker mode or muted, etc. You can enable this feature by going to Settings > Account and then under “Privacy” turn on the option called “Audio status”.
Delete Messages from Your Last Seen Timeline
It is a pretty secure way of keeping people unaware of your last seen. When you delete messages from your chat window, they will also disappear from other person’s chats as well which means they won’t be able to see you are last seen anymore.
Enable Read Receipts for Better Privacy
The read receipts lets you know when a person has actually opened the message that you sent them, this is really helpful in knowing whether or not someone has viewed your messages. You can turn it on by going into Settings > Account and then under “Privacy” turn on the option called “read receipts”.
Disable Delivery Receipts for Better Privacy
This feature lets other people know when you have actually sent them a message, to disable it go into Settings > Account and then under “Privacy” turn off the option called “Delivery reports”. Turn Off Your Last Seen Status from Profile Section. By default, every time you are online on Whatsapp it will be displayed in your profile section which means anyone can see when they last saw you. To disable this feature just go into Settings > Account and then under “Profile” turn off the option called “Show my status”.
Turn Off Group Invites from Chat Section
By default WhatsApp lets everyone from your contacts list send you a group invite, to turn it off go into Settings > Chats and Media, and then under “Group Invites” disable the option called “Allow Group invites from anyone”.
Turn Off Read Receipts for Specific Contacts or Groups
You can easily hide read receipts from specific chats or groups by going to WhatsApp settings and then under “Account” turn off the option called “read receipts”.
Turn Off Typing Indicator for Specific Contacts or Groups
This feature lets you know when someone is typing, to disable it just go into WhatsApp settings and then under “Account” turn off the option called “Typing indicator”. Turn On Last Seen Timestamp
Stop unnecessary Images and Videos appearing in your Gallery
There is a simple trick that lets you hide all the images and videos received from your WhatsApp contacts. Just follow these steps: Go to Settings > Chats and Media and then turn on “Save Incoming media to gallery”. You can also use this feature with other messaging apps like Facebook Messenger, Telegram, etc by turning off the “Save Incoming media to Gallery” option.
Make Group Call
WhatsApp provides a simple way to make a group voice call with your friends and family, all you have to do is press the phone icon next to their name. To add more people to the calling list just go into Settings > Chats and Media then turn on the “show audio options” option. That’s it!
Use Whatsapp on the Web
WhatsApp is now accessible on the web, to use it just go into the WhatsApp website and sign in with your phone number.
Require Face ID or Touch ID to unlock Whatsapp
This feature lets you lock your WhatsApp with the help of a face ID or Touch ID in order to prevent other people from peeping into your chats. To enable this feature, go to Whatsapp settings and then under “Account” turn on the option called “Require Authentication”.
Export and View your chat report
After enabling this feature you can export all your WhatsApp chat history. To enable it to go to Whatsapp settings and then under “Account” turn on the option called “Chat backup”.
Payment through WhatsApp
