Unity 3D Helicopter Making (Download Link Update)

In this course, we will learn how to make a Helicopter in Unity3D which can be controlled by Touch and Keyboard, which makes it a great project to start with if you are new to Unity.

The course is divided into 9 sections, each section will have a video tutorial, and a downloadable package so that you can follow along.

Introduction Download the Helicopter Package (You’ll need this to make sure your project matches mine) Setup of our Environment Making the base for our Craft Adding the Body of our Aircraft Rotating Propeller & Controlling Thrust Adding Controls Touch input controlling throttle/collective (Collective = up/down thrust)

Touch input controlling direction (Yaw) Addition of Pitch control via keyboard or gamepad Simulation & Flight Logic

It will be presented in HD quality at 1080p resolution, and all videos are in English.

After downloading the package, extract it somewhere accessible. You will be presented with a folder called “EON Crafts”. Open this, and you should see an Animator Controller which is used to give us throttle control via touch input. In the next section, we’ll take a look at how that’s done.
