When it comes to any mobile phone, I’ll show you some phone codes and methods to make yourself appear like an expert.
Some of these numbers are specific to particular phone manufacturers, but there are generic ones that work for all phones.
*#06#: Displays your unique IMEI number
The International Mobile Equipment Identity, or IMEI, is a 15-digit number that identifies each mobile phone. There is no exact duplicate for the IMEI numbers in the world.
*2767*3855 # : Restarts your phone
This code will restart your phone as if it had just been turned on. It is a great solution when you are having problems with the software and need to reboot for an immediate fix!
*2767*2878 # : Removes operator logo from startup sequence
So, you thought that removing those logos was impossible? Think again! This code will remove all logos from the startup sequence of your phone.
*3370: Puts your phone in analog mode
Don’t have the right phone for digital networks? This code will switch your mode to analog, so you can use it on any network.
*225 #: Enables speed dialing
If you have a phone that allows for speed dialing, then this code will enable it. This is useful if you find yourself needing to use the same numbers over and over again! It’s as easy as entering *220 before each number in your speed dialing list.
*3370: Disables digital signals on your phone
In some parts of the world, there are areas where only analog signals work. If you need to stop your phone from looking for a digital signal, then this code will do just that!
*31#: Hide your caller ID
Is your phone number being hidden? Perhaps they owe you money and aren’t picking up your calls? Smiles… You may conceal your phone number on all outgoing calls by dialing *31#. Once your call has gone into his/her phone, the other person will see a private number. When you’re finished, dial *#30#
*#*#7594#*#*: Quick Shutting down
This code will instantly turn off your phone without using the power button. If you have a mobile phone with a faulty power button, this may be useful. I once had a mobile phone without a power button. Grin!.. To shut down your phone immediately, dial *#*#7594#*#*.
*#5005*7672# : Displays SMS message center number
Your phone’s message center number is the same as your cell phone’s number, so you may use this secret code to discover the phone number that is linked with your text message center and is instead the one that all of your texts are forwarded to.
*#*#8351#*#*: Listen to your own voice recordings
Let’s suppose you made a crucial call like an interview, and you’d want to listen to your own voice recordings from the previous 20 phone conversations.
